Will Kernan has 20+ years of blended Corporate & Consulting experience working with global
teams. He has supported CEOs, CFOs, Board of Directors and Accounting/Finance teams in
FP&A/Controller/Chief Accountant capacities and supported organizations ranging from start-
ups to over a billion in revenue. He has worked in a wide range of industries eg. education, e-
discovery, non-profits, manufacturing, multinational technology, real estate, wholesale/retail
wine, market research, energy & utilities, safety sciences, multinational conglomerate, private
equity, global news stations and national residential/office leasing.

Will has extensive experience in but not limited to improving business processes, system
implementations, FP&A/Managerial Accounting/Treasury/Payroll oversight, month-end-close,
internal/external financial reporting preparation & analysis, KPI development & compliance. He has served on numerous non-profit boards as Chair and has been recognized by the Institute of
Management Accountants for inspiring future innovation in leadership & governance within the
accounting profession.

A lifelong resident of Chicago, Will obtained his undergraduate degree and MBA from DePaul
University in Chicago’s Loop and currently resides just north of Chicago in Lake Forest where
he spends his free time exploring nature trails, walking along the lakefront capturing nature
photos as an amateur photographer or cooking a meal from scratch for family and friends.
