Charlie was born and raised in Texas. He grew up in Sugar Land, just southwest of Houston, in an entrepreneurial family that built residential pools and transformed backyards into places where families could gather and make memories. That experience gave him an early appreciation for hard work, craftsmanship, and the value of building something lasting. Charlie and his wife, Emileigh, are raising four wonderful kids, who keep them busy with sports, school activities, and the everyday joys of family life. Outside of work, he’s an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, hunting, running, and camping with his kids. 

After earning his Finance degree from Texas State University, Charlie began his career in oil and gas, first with Halliburton in Completions and later with Noble Drilling Services in FP&A. From there, he moved into the private, founder-led transportation and logistics business environment, where he served as Controller and later CFO for Transco Group in Houston. Throughout his career, Charlie has enjoyed taking a practical, hands-on approach to building finance operations that are disciplined, forward-looking, and designed to support growth.

Fun fact about Charlie: He learned carpentry from his grandfather as a child and still uses those skills today, building furniture for his home and for friends. He’s also spent the past 10 years paddling and camping overnight on nearly every navigable river in Texas with family and friends.
