Matthew Musgrove, CPA, serves as a Senior Accountant at Bright Balance. He completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting at the University of North Texas in 2022 and went on to earn his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 2024. Matthew showcased his commitment to the field by passing all four sections of the CPA Exam on his first try.

Before joining Bright Balance, Matthew spent over three years at Forvis Mazars, where he focused on healthcare auditing. His background includes working with large hospital systems and private equity-backed healthcare organizations, providing him with a robust understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and accounting practices. With his keen attention to detail and dedication to delivering accurate financial information, he helps clients feel confident in their financial operations and decision-making processes.

A lifelong resident of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, Matthew values the area’s rich cultural diversity, friendly communities, and vibrant food scene. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality moments with family, exploring new travel destinations, playing golf on weekends, and keeping active through fitness and exercise.
