Patrick Tam is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and has held many roles in Accounting and FP&A over the past 17 years, with most of his experience in FP&A. He has worked for a variety of companies, from high growth startups to a $7 Billion multi-national company with operations in 45 countries and many in between. He has extensive experience in technical industries such as Insurance, Commodities, Software/tech and SaaS, as well as banking and commercial real estate. He has advised in a number of M&A transactions both on the buy and sell side within companies; a number of startups looking for VC or PE investments, and has helped raise debt and other non-bank financing. He has a long history of utilizing strong technical skills to bridge gaps between systems, the accounting/finance function and the business.  

Patrick earned his bachelors in accounting from Oklahoma State University and a master in accounting and financial analysis from Northeastern State University. He has lived in Dallas since 2007 and is married to Annie Tam, who founded Mend Counseling. They have been married since 2008 and have two boys, which always keep them busy.
